The hotel rooms were all left with the doors wide open, so not as private or secure as expected, but they were all different shapes, sizes, and decor. They were clean but needed an update. The service was very helpful and went out of their way to enable me to get an early morning start. The location was excellent for exploring the historic old town, just a short walk to Laon old town centre. The dining options were limited and not up to the expected standard. The facilities were well-maintained.

I stayed at the hotel for the third time, and it's excellent for sightseeing being very central at the top of the citadel. The service was exceptionally helpful and friendly, but the dining options were a bit limited. The room, although overlooking a narrow street, was clean, comfortable, and spacious with an adequate bathroom.
